' >', The Palmerston North TechniSchool inaugurated the first sheep-slitearing classes in the North Island here yesterday, and they will be continued for six days, atid a furthe • course, if necessary. They began With thirteen students yesterday but on the farmers seeing their prac- 1 tical character the numbers increased to more than " twenty to-day. The boys proposeto go shearing this year. The wool elasser in charge of the tables, who: now has a good position, was himself Ni<. graduate at the Palmerston.
