AUSTRALIAN CABINET MINIS- .. ;■ TER.. / .;.; DIES WHILE OUT WALKING. Received This Morning, 1,5 o'clock MSBLiBOUBNE, October 8. The Hon. Mr Batehelor, Minister for External Affairs, died suddenly while on a walking tour near Warburton. He was accompanied by a party of prominent public men. The body is to be taken to Adelaide for burial. . , The House was asked to adjourn till Tuesday as a mark of respect. While assisting to convey the body to Warburton, Mr Justice Higgins slipped and fell, and seriously injured' his ankle, and probably a bone is broken.
