NEW ZEALAND FORECAST. By Tdearavh — Press Association. The Rev. D, C. Bates reported on Saturday:— The weather has been fine and mild, but unsettled':at times in the extreme North and South. Moderate to> strong easterly winds have! pre-; vailed in the northernmost'districts,' and westerly breezes in Foveaux Strait, but light and variable winds elsewhere. The barometer lias continued high. Present indications are for mild and fair weather generally. Moderate to strong easterly winds* prevailing northward of East Cape and Kawhia. Westerly breezes in Foveaux Strait, an dvariable winds elsewhere. Barometer little movement.
