MASTERTON CRICKET CLUB

ANNUAL MEETING.

The Masterton Cricket Club held its meeting last night, Mr J .B. Moodie. presiding. The annual report and .balance-sheet '■■ were read and adopted. Following are t!he officers elected for the ensuing term: —President, Mr W. G. Beard; Vice-President. Messrs F. G. Maunsell. F. G. Moore, A. P. Whatman, R. Morrison and A. Matthews ; secretary and treasurer, Mr T. Jordan; auditor. Mr C. Perry; committee, Mesrrs C. Perry, W, Lett, J. B Moodie, A. E. Esson. and A. Congdon; club captain. Mr D. K. Logan; selectors, Messrs D. K. Logan, A. E. Esson. and T. Jordan; delegates to the Wadrarapa Cricket Association, Messrs C. Perry and T. Jordan. Eight new members were elected. It was resolved that one senior and one junior team be entered for the competitions. Messrs G. R. Sykes and A. Henderson were thanked for donations to the Club. Mr W. H. Galwey, was elected a lifemember of the Club, and the iSecretary was: instructed,to .write to Mr Gal wey expressing the Club's appreciation of his past services. It was decided to. commence net practice this (Saturday) afternoon.
