PORTUGAL UNREST
MANY ARRESTS MADE THE GAOLS OVERFLOWING

MADRID, October 5
The Spanish Ambassador at Lisbon reports that great unrest obtains in Portugal.
Lisbon telegrams report that many arrests have been, made at Oporto, solely on the unsupported accusation of Carabineers. The gaols are overflowing. An exodus of leading families has commenced.
