At its last annual conference, the N.Z. Farmers' Union, passed a. Jiumbe-* of resolutions, asking for con'oessions, for submission to Ministers of the Orown. The first hatch of replies is just to hand, and they one and all express "regret" that tlie request of the Union tcannot be acceded to. In point of fact, Ministers treat the Union as a. huge joke, and "turn down" its requests with a- consistency which, is sublime. One of these day.;', the former will wake up, and there wili'foie a row.
