Round the bend, Vice Admiral piloted Lady Medallist, Britain, Flava,, Borambil and Malt King into the .straight. Vice Admiral and Britain showed the way clear of Malt Kjig, Flava and Didus. At the disitance, Flava was leading from Malt King, Vice Admiral, and Lady Medallist. A good finish •resrulted in a wir, for Malt King by two lengths, a, length and a- half .between second and third.
