Several days of warm weather folio wing on the heavy radons of last week Jiave greatly improved the appearance of .tQie country, which is .now looking splendid on ail .sides. Viewing operations will be commencing in. tins district in a. few weeks' time, and (farmers tare already making the usual preparations. <Mr Lees' wool classes, which have been conducted hero during the winter months, were concluded on Tuesday ikist. The classes have been a •great success, tJhe members expressing themselves- as greatly benefited, «aid their knowledge of wool much enlarged. Mr Leesi intends holding a test examination for members of the clas* at "Hikoraugi" at am early date, whenthis .season's clip will be used. The County Council have begun improvement 'works at Jackson's Creek, which, when, completed, should be an improvement on the present state of the road. The new residences 1 at Flat Point an.l Glen 'Roy stations are now well under way, and a few weeks should see them, completed.
