FOUND NEAR FEATHERSTON.
A gold-bearing reef of fairry large proportions is (reported to have £ Jbeett discovered at Featherstom, withim about two .miles of the township. Fair, samples have been- secured and assayed, and found to contain- very, payable stone. It is understood thatf a syndicate of about six have taken' up the cla.imj-.and intend exploiting it.
