A wedding of interest was solemnised at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Gfcurch,. Gunn, formerly of Aberdeen, Scotland, and now of Carterton. The bride, who was given away by Da* Johnston, was becomingly attired in a gown of English femlbroidery, and wore a large tagel stmaw hat, trimmed wfithi o*stric!h. feathers and silt rose. She carried, a bouquet of white heather and maiden hair fern.'Tiber© were four bridesmaids, Misses Beta, Etezabetb, and Jean Johtastoh,-and Miss Cormiaok, wih|o*wej*e' attired in frocks of ninon ■■ and white', lace, finished l witih silver/girdles. The two first named bridesmaidfi wore" caps of silver net and pink roses, while tihe Eats of tlhe latter were of large block, lined with, blue, and trimmed with pink roses and lace. a handsome gold scarf pin. The bridesmaids. were presented with pretty moonisitone necklets. Dr A. Hosking, of Madterton, was best man, and Dr Mcßae, of Tinui, "was groomsman. The interior of v the church was to ste£uUy\ decorated, and the ceremony, which was performed by the Rev. L. Thlwnipson, was fully chloral. Amid showers of the; happy couple left the church for "Qarrington Lodge,", the residency of Da- Johnston, where a reception was held. Dr and Mrs Gunn left by the afternoon tnain on their honeymoon tour South, n the #ride'« travelling dress being of a creme putty coloured coat and skirt, white straw hat, with tiny .pink roses and black and wlhiite ribbons.
