SPLENDID ENTRIES.

WELLINGTON, Last Night.

The entries for the Musical- and Elocutionary Competitions to be held in Wellington next month, by the New Zealand Oompetdtioas' Society number 1500, and about 200 more are yet to be received by post. The entries are from' persons, all over the Dominion. It is estimated thlat there will be at least 1000 visiting competitors, and that the competitions' will probably have to be extended over thirteen days, instead of ten, as previously arranged.
