GOMES TO GRIEF
SPECTATORS ALARMED.

LONDON, September 25. One of the Admiralty's airships, wlhen being .towed out of a shed, heeled over. The check-ropes guiding it were released, and it righted itself. The ship heeled over a second time, however, and bulged the middle and stern tanks of wlater. A gondola underneath, containing officers, was partially submerged. The officers stuck to their posts. The crews, in towing boats, dived for safety. The sound of the tearing .and crackling alarmed the spectators. The tear extended for five sections, - and was dux> to a rupture in the gas bag. The wreckage was housed with ■ difficulty. •
