By Telegraph — Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. A terrible accident occurred tonight. Whien the 8.50 o'clock train, from Lower Hutt was crossing the Thorndon. Esplanade crossing within a short distance of the station, the driver felt a jar, and the train was pulled up, and an inspection made, when, ihe body of a woman was found on the lane, mutilated absolutely beyond recognition. The remains are indeed indescribable. 'Tfok whole length of the train must have gone over her. There is so far no clue as. to her identity, and little left, even, of her clothing, to assise in her identification.
