To Hiwi 'Memorial Stakes, 80 sovs. one mile.— Otahu 1, Lady Volley 2, Turna 3. Also iron— Brown Trout, Melalogue, Soots Fusilier, Golden Age. Won by a length from Lady Volley, w'ito fiiiisiied well half a [length ahead of Turna. Plying Handicap.— Deploy 1, TekaihuTangji 2, Full Rate 3. Atbo ■ran— Merry Frank, Thetfe, Erin, Hirini. Won all the way, but Full Rate finished faster than the winner. Time, lmin. 45 3-ssec. Maiden Plate, 60 sovs., five furlongs (all weighted at Bst 21b),— Adare 1, Our Queen 2, Abercord 3.
