PRISONERS TAKE"! TO A THEATRE.

NEW YORK, September 23
Fifty convicts from the State Prison at Denver, Colorado, including several who are undergoing terms of imprisonment for life, attended a dramatic performance at a local theatre, under a strong guard. The play dealt with convict, life in the prisons, and was of a highly moral character. As an outcome of the experiment, the prison warders are hopeful that the lessons taught by the play will be taken to heart.
