Carey, W. B. Chennells, C. E. , Darnell, J. B.'Moodie and G, C. Summerell. . v The Treasurer .reported a credit • ' balance at date of £9 188 6d. A letter was received from the Wel- . lington Chamber, forwarding a resolotion suggesting the amendment of ' ' the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act in the direction of making ; it compulsory to advertise applications for registration, so that registration might -be .-opposed if necessary; also that there be a right of appeal from the decision of the Registrar.; —On the motion of the Chairman!, seconded by Mr. Donald, it was decided that the resolution of the Wellington Chamber ba endorsed. . \ . The Imperial Council of the Cha ambers of Commerce forwarded a list of . resolutions" passed at the conference . „on July sth., and asking for the name of .the Chamber'sdeelgates to the an- . nual conference. The question was held . over for/discussion until next meeting.
