One rather serious instance, in which, eight cow[& have died on one property is just now undergoing special investigation, and the Beipartmient has arranged for a quantity of the roots to be sent to Wellington for chemical analysis iby Mr Aston. Any settler who experiences similar troubfle is requested to communicate the fact to the nearest officer of the Live Stock Division, who wall give the matter las special 'attention.
