TO-DAY'S WEATHER
♦ NEW ZEALAND FORECAST. By Telearavh—Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Rev. D. C. Bates, of the Meteorological Office this evening issued the following summary and forecast :
The weather has moderated ; cold and changeable conditions have prevailed, with heavy .showers at times on the East Coast. Oalies aire reported this evening at East Cape and Cape Egmont, (but moderate to strong southerly 'winds now predominate. The barometer has risen everywhere. Present indications are for cool and changeable weather generally, with moderate to" strong isouth-easterly winds predominating. The barometer has a rising tendency everywhere.
