PALMERSTON STOCK MARKET. PALMERSTON N., Last Night. (By Telegraph—Special to the Age.) Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report at the Palmers-ton North to-day as follows: —An average yarding of stock was offered, and met with good competition. Sales were affected at the following quotations:—Ewes and lambs, 14s to 17s 8d; forward ewes, 13a 5d to 14s; hoggets, 12s 2d to 13s lOd; medium hoggets, 9s; yearling steers, £2 14s Gd; 2-year steers, £3 18s; 3-year steers, £5; springing heifers-, £4 4s to £5; heifers in calf, £3 8s; yearling heifers, £2 to £2 10s weaner heifers., 25s 6d; forward cows, £4; storo cows, £2 10s to £2 14s.
