QUARTERLY MEETINC.

Tihe quarterly meeting of the Masterton Eire- Boaald was .held yesterday afternoon, there .being, present,— •Messrs 0. N. C. PaiagnjeiQ (chairman), J. C. Ewdngton, J. P. Prentice, R. M. Simpson and C. R. bmith. An. apology was received from Mr R. J. Wlhite. The report of Superintendent Jenkfins was read and dealt with. fHfcu& annual repent and balancesheet were adopted, subject to audit. It was decided-to draw the attention of the Borough Council to tihe inadequacy of the fire-plug indicators in tflre Borougn. It Avas resolved to instruct the Superintendent to take such action as nitay be necessary for tihe preservation of human life in. respect to certain public buildings.
