Considerably ovier. one hundred and fifty couples must have taken the floor, which speaks well for the Society's entertainments. During tihe evening musical items and Scotch dances 1 were given, and were wClOi received. The arrangements were in. the hands of an energetic working committee, „ wiho capaMy handled the vast crowd. Messrs. R. Mo'Kenzie, J. H Pauling, P. J. Jorgensem and.J. Henderson efficiently carried out the duties of M.'lsC. A sumptuous supper was laid out by the ladies' comimittee, consisting of Mesdamies J; B. MbKenzie, A. Miutrie, A. McLeod, J. H. Pauling, G. W. Sellar, L. Smith, A. Stewart, K A. Collier, and the Misses Baingham, Turner, Gillespie, Hogg, Mcl/aoHan, Buiok ( and Stewart. Mr F. McKenzie'is arahestra rendered the dianae music.
