NEW ZEALAND FORECAST. BU' Telegraph—Tress Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Rev. D. C. Bates, of the Meteorological Office this evening issued the following summary and forecast:— Very starany weather and heavy c/eias have been experienced on the East Coast between Napier and Aka•roa Peninsula, also in Cook Strait. fllne weather has been cold, unsettled Uind showery, generally, with high Southerly winds in parts. The baro•meter has risen everywheire. Present indications are for stormy weather between Bast Cape amd Kaikoura, and in Cook Strait, with a south-east gale, heavy showers and higjh seas on the coast. Strong Southerly winds aire probable generally, but decreasing after about 18 ■hours. Cold and changeable weather in most parts of the Dominion, but improving after about 24 (hours.
