PAHIATUA STOCK SALE.
Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report:—We have to report a good yarding of sheep at our sale and a fair yarding of cattle, (to a good attendance of bupers. Sheep met with good competition, and we have to report a total clearance. Cattle .did not meet with much competition, several pens being passed. We quote: — Mixed hoggets, 8s 3d, 10s 4d, 10s Sd, to Us 6d; 2-tootb. to f .m. empty ewes, 12s 6d to 12s lid; others, 7s lid; aged ewes in lamb, 7s 9d; f.m. ewes and lambs, to 20s. Cattle: Yearling to 18-months steers, to £3; heifers in calf, to £3 12s 6d; springing heifers, £4 9s to £6; dairy cows, £3 15s to £6.
