SUPREME COURT.

GJSBORPE, Last Night. At tihe Supreme Court to-day, before Mr Jiustice Chapman, Alfred Bunnicle, alias Pearce, alias Barni-* 1 cle, was found* guilty of assaulting ancl robbing wtth violence one Jas. Eanname. There were fourteen previous convikitdonis against the accused, who was sentenced to twelve months' hard' labour and ordered to be detained for four years' reformative treatment. A case is proceeding in which George Brown, Thos. Habgood and Henry Charles Stewart are charged with having entered the dwelling of a widow, Caroline Broad■hiursffc, at night, and demanding food with the intent to steal it. Brown is also charged with assaulting the woman. "No bills" were returned in th!e case of *Wim. Priestly, alleged wounding of a cow, and Jas. Kerr Ea&ton, alleged manslaughter.
