LONDON, September 14. Mr Holmes, a New Zealand trade commissioner, has visited Ireland and arranged for shipments of New ZteaLand butter during the Irish winter. He states that the trade here has hitherto been hampered by Danish competition. Ho is now in England, interviewing the importers of meat, kauri, tallow, wool and grain.
(Received September 15, 11.20 a.m.) LONDON, Sept-ember 14. Sir Wan. Hall-Jones (High Commissioner) states that the John Holmes wlho is busying himself with the New Zealand produce markets, is no* officially connected with New Zealand trade. • )
