The annual general meeting of the above Club was held an MessrsHornsby and Laurenson's office subsequently, Mr J. G. Oa-te® presiding, there being a fair attendance of members. The. treasurer's' statement showed the Club to. be in a very sound financial position, the best for some time, , It was resolved that in future the season, ends on July 31st, and thJa& the annual meeting has been held some time during the . first threeweek® in Augustt. . It was resolved to challenge the Masterton Cluh : to a shoot, twelve men aside, for two .barrells. of pigeons, the matter of arranging ai daite to be left'with the secretary and treasurer. The matter of holduig a live bird match was discussed, and it wasi decided to hold the same in January. ■ • ~ A small shed is to be erected on the grounds, provided permission is given by the owners. TBie matter of arranging a shoot for the Boswell gun, being imported! from England, was left in the hands of the Committee. . Tlbe election of officers resulted: —Patron, Mr. J. G.
