PALMERSTON STOCK SALE. (By Telegraph—Special to the Age.) PALMERSTON, Last Night.. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report:—At our Palmerston sale on Thursday, the 14th inst., cattle of all classes met with a ready sale, and all lots offered changed hands. Only one pen of sheep came forward. Quotations :—Aged ewes with lambs, 13s 6d; 3-year polled angus bullocks, £5 15s; 2i and 3-year steers, £5 Ss 6d; empty cows, £2 17s 6d to £3 15s ; yearling heifers, £2 9s; weaner heifers, 31s 6d; weaner -steers, 32s 6d : springing heifers, £4 to £6.
