APPEAL TO SUPREME COURT.

.A case was heard an (the Supreme Court at Masterton yesterday after■'noon .in , which Mir Levi appealed against the judgment of Mr C. 0. •Graham, S;M M in an action in which Thomas Flint York was awarded £7O damages in connection with a break of contract with regard to the sale of a flock of sheep. The appeal was on the grbund that the judgment was against the weight of evidence, and that the damages were excessive. Mr J). K. Logan oppeared for the respondent. After argument His Honor reduced the amount of the damages awarded by the Magistrate by £2O, each party to pay their own costs in the appeal.
