SPEAKER AND MEMBER AN ELECTIONS AMENDMENT BILL. (Received September 13, 9.10 a.m.) SYDNEY, September 13. In the Legislative Assembly the Parliamentary Elections Amendment Bill, dealing with alterations and extensions of the franchise, was reintroduced. The Liberals strongly opposed the measure, which, they urged, would mean delaying the General Elections for a year. Mr Wood again came into conflict with the Speaker, and was removed from the House.
