(From Our Own Correspondents.' KAIPARORO. Several heavy frosts have been experienced, here during the past week amcl as a-result growth, is somewhat retarded. The cheese factory opened for the season yesterday, ike .supply of milk being quite up to expectations. On Thursday last a plain and fancy dress, hall was given in the local hall by the bachelors of the district. Tlhle nighft- was an ideal one for dancing, and the hall, was crowded to overflowing, over a hundred persons being present. Amongst the guests were visitor® from Eketahuna and surrounding districts-. Messrs J. Biok and V. RenaLl acted as M.O.'s, (and first-class music was supplied by Mrs XJdy (piano), Mr Larson (violin), andl Mr L. Parker (comet). Extras Avere played by Misses Edwards and Fletcher. During the evening songe were contributed by Messrs Jago, J. Parker and Needhain. ; ''•>■.
