STRIKES IN AUSTRALIA.

(Received September 6.. 9.25 a.m.) MELBOURNE, September 6. At the annual meeting of the Employers' Federation it was stated that there were seventynsix main and twelve subsidiary strikes in Australia for the year ended June 30fcii. The President declared that unless the Labour Party was better advised, it might do irreparable damage. Country employers were harassed in every conceivable direction, and the great efforts that were now _ being made to place them in subjection to Union bosses would nave to be strenuously, resisted.
