IMPERIAL MISSION.
(Received September 6, 10.40 a.m). LONDON, September 5. Mr Josepn Chamberlain has been elected vice-president of the Imperial Mission, whose policy is to promote Imperialistic ideas in the Empire, emphasise the benefits of solidarity in commerce and defence, and direct the current of emigration, towards the Overseas Dominions. Sir John Quick will form a Victorian branch. Sir John Forrest is president of the Westralian branch. A conference will be held, with Mr Deakih, with a. view t-o promoting interest in the movement. Branches are being formed in Sydney and Adelaide.
