The Ser-ceant-at-Arms was also deprived of his knee breeches, which were replaced by the regulation nether garments. The clerks of Parliament were without Sgs In the Senate, the Lsher of the R'"d carried no sword. mc Speaker stated that the changes had :been made bv his authority.
