TRADE UNION CONGRESS.
(Received September 5, 10.10 a.m.) LONDON, September 4. At a Trade Unarin Congress at Newcastle, which was attended by 520 delegates, representing 1,667,000 members, -the presidental address stated that the recent labour unrest had resulted in their obtaining concessions which had hitherto been denied. The principal resolutions seek to secure an amalgamation of all unions connected with each industry; and also a central national. organisation comprising all unions and societies.
