THE RAILWAYMEN'S TROUBLES. BOARDS FOR EACH COMPANY. (ReceiVed Last Night, 9.15 o'clock.) LONDON, Sept. 5. • (Most of the witnessed before the Royal Commission favoured special Boards for each railway, with a NationaJi Board as a Court of Appeal. The Oomimiisisaon enquired whether a tribunal; would be empowered to arrive at a binding decision. The spokesman, of the Great Eastern, South Eastern and Chatham employees were against giving an independent Qh!adrinan on a National Board 'tihe easting vote, in order to 'seciuire a definite result. Mr Ellis rernarked.that without an 'independent chairman tihe ddffereaoe'S mnrst lead to a deadlock. The South Eastern spokesman replied that there .must be eomoiliatk.n or there would be war watih the companies. They must know that unless they conciliate there would ho war. Two witnesses suggested a fort nagblt'is notice of a strike in the event of a failure of the oonoildatibn madiinery.
