Huish, the famous Kent wic-ket-keeper, 'lias, during the season, canglit sixty-two and stumped thirtyeight, (thus accounting for exactly 100 wickets for his county. (Last season he caught forty-three and stumped thirty-one—74 in all). Kent beat Essex by ten wickets, J. Seymour contributing 218. The Yorkshire v. Marylebone match was drawn. W. Rhodes, for the first time in his career, completed his second hundred —namely, 209 —in one match. G. L. Jessop made 117. Middlesex beat Surrey by 35. J. T. Hearne took Jiine wickets for 82.
