FOOT-AND-MOUTH DISEASE.
..(Received September 4, 8.5 a.m.), LONDON, September 3. Lord Carrington is appointing a Departmental Committee, including the representatives of leading Agricultural Societies, with the Rt. Hon. Aihvyn Fellowes as chairman, to enquire concerning the foot and mouth disease, and consider what further measures shall be taken to prevent its spreading.
