The representatives of the several centres of the Wiairairapa, Association* jiia-ve been hard at work an anticipation of this important miaetimg, and the nominations have> exceeded the .most sanguine expeotiaItiioajs'. The .tournaments held in various parts of tihe Wainaraipa have produced so much new talent, that the selection of winners is a task that eveni those who have: followed this .season's sport will find it hard to solve. The introduction of new instructors, with) thedin different miethods of training, have considerably increased the interest, and it is only am coanpetitioinis! of this kind that the past six months' tuition may be fairly reviewted.
