FATAL TRAP ACCIDENT.
A WOMAN KILLED.

Last Night,
An accident occurred on tlhe Leith Valley road about three or four miles from Dunedin this afternoon, whereby Mrs O. B. M. Branson, licensee of Branison r 6 Hotel', was killed end her son severely injured. They had 'been for a- drive, aud while returning the ison got out to get! some flax, ileaving the reims: -with h'i& mother. Whale the wiais out of the trap the horse bolted, and though toe managed t'o olamlber over the back of the trap the horse iran over the edge of the bank into the creek. DVDrs Branision.' had 1 her neck brofcm and was dead when taken to the hospital. The isoou is unconscious, but is expected to recover.
