The many friends of Mr and Mrs Joseph Rear don, of Masterton, will regret to learn of the death of their third daughter, Miss Annie Reardon, which occurred on Wednesday at midnight. The deceased, who had 'been suffering for some time past, was ex- ' ceedingly popular among her frieiicts, and her demise will be keenly felt by 'those who knew her. The bereaved parents < will have the sympathy of a large circle of friends. The funeral will leave the residence. 52 Perry Street, at 2.30 o'clock this afternoon 'lor the Masterton cemetery. The death is reported from Dunedin of Mr Robert Watt Brown, another of the pioneers of 1848. Mr Brown arrived with his parents in the ship Bernicia in December, 1848.. The bride ' daintily attired in a pretty, white embroidered muslin dress, with a becoming hat to match, and was (attended by Miss Margaret Wallis as brides"miaid, who was robed in blue radianta,, trimmed with glace silk, tvith transparent yoke and sleeves, black and / white 'hat to match. Mr Edward Wallis was best man. On Monday last, at St. Paul's "Pro-Cathedral, Wellington, the wedding took place of Miss JSdith Ford, youngest daughter of Mr and Mrs F. ~Ford, of the Terrace, Wellington, to "Mr Alexander. Munro, son of Mr A. W. Munro, late of Masterton and Red--Tern.' The bride was given away by her ilather, and was attended by Miss Dorothy Jones, of the Lower Hutt, as bridesmaid. Mr Lawrence, of Ohrist- ' church, was best man.
