SOLWAY RECOGNITION FUND.
SEVEN ASIDE FOOTBALL MATCH,
• Arrangements for the Seven Aside Football Match, in connection with the Sol way Recognition Fund, are • well in hand, and it is anticipated that there will be a.very large, attendance at the old showground to-morrow., afternoon to witness the various compete tions. Numerous entries from teams from all parts of the Waifarapa are being received, and 'the play, will commence at 2 o'clock sharp. The ordinary football rules will be observed, with the following exceptions: —Two spells of seven minutes each, and if at the end of the second spell there is no score, the game to go on for periods of seven minutes until there is a scorei With reference to the scoring, ordinary points will count, excepting that a force down will count one point against the team forced; a kick over the dead ball line not to count a point.

McKenzie, P. Bond, H. McKenzie, A. Desmond and P. Barry. The following is the Post anl Telegraph team which has been selected for the junior competitions—W Jackson. A. EddjvD. Loader, T. Hanley, R. Williams, V, Richards and N. Williams.
The Masterton l Senior teams are as follow: —A".—McXiachJan, Grant, L. Spackman, Mmm, Hanley, Yates and Dixon. B.—Billington. Cameron, Iggulden, F. Ball, Darvill, Waugh and Dorset.
