THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTURES.
Another good house greeted the current programimfe of pictures ait /the iForesteris' Hall last evening. The 'best of the diraanas was a very foiichinig story enltatled "Oppanfcunity and the Mam," in which the theme was jan excellent one, the aiating ibeing ftnat-okfiis and the pihotogjraphy superb. "The Unexpected Review" wais> a clever and remarkaibjly well out comedy by the yiltflgraipih Ctompany, which gave a capital insight into life "below and albove stairs," and caused roars of laughter. "Fookliead and his Two •Lovers" was another splendid oomedy picture which was respomsiible !for (much amusement. "Faithful" was a capital type of ooniedy-dirar-mia, while "Thielmia," am. adaptation of Marie Oorelli's famous work, found much favour. "A Trip Round Lake Constance" was a beautiful scenic. A number of other first-class sufbjedtis were shown. The programme wall ibe repeated for the last time to-night.
