Cold and. changeable -weather prevailed, except in (the isouthernmost districts, where unsettled and showery conditions have been reported. Rres&nt indiioation,B are for strong southerly winds, with cloudy and. unsettled' (weather generally. Heavy rain is probable on the 'Bast Coast of the North, Island, and ishowery conditions elsewhere. Barometer has a :slight tendency to rise, butt a further fall 3® anticipated, especially in. the South.
