MOTOR CAR ACCIDENT.

TIMARU, 'Last Night,

On Friday evening, at about sax o'clock, HedJey Abbott, of Pareora, was motoring with two friends, iHonson and Haynes, when his car collided' with a horse and trap near Pareora river. The trap was smashed!, and the car was imoich damged. Wearing, driver of the trap, had a collarbone forakeni, Hanson. was cut about the face, and had some teeth knocked out', but the others wero unhurt. The accident occrainred at a corner, where it was a habit of traffic both ways to shave the corner.
