SERIOUS CONFLICTS WITH POLICE.

LONDON, Last Night. Rioting has 'been renewed at EWbw Vale on a large soale.
The Riot Act whs read. The military cleared the street with a bayonet charge. A soldier was badly injured. Ten thousand people assembled at Cwim and did great damage. The military were summoned, but the rioting continued until late at night. The disturbance was eventually quelled. Mobs atacked churches and other buildings. At Brynmaur, there were some l Beriouisi conflicts, the mob throwing J stones and bottles at the police. j The arrival of two bodies of cav- > airy restored partialquietude. Hundreds of Jews are quitting Tredegar and Efefow Vale by every I train, leaving their 1 homes undefendj ed and uncared for, • The Jews are accused of tlhe mono--1 poly of several classes of tirade, such )as furnishing, clothing, jewellery, ! «tc. They compel tenants to obtain their furniture from them on the-hire system.
It is seated that many of the poorest were evicted. Ridting and looting at Tredegar was renewed early to-day. The crowd wrenched the railwiays from, a private residence, but there was a sltaimpede when the military ■appeared. The looters drove the women from their homes. A woman lying ill was terrified and' ran out, (shrieking, for safety. - The crowd seized her bed and threw it into tlie street. Many rioters were injured in many localities. , , Numerous arrests were made.
