In the House of Representatives, this afternoon, the Petitions Committee recommended the petition of .the Riangitikei Racing Club for the restitution of its totalisator license to the favourable consideration of the .Government. , The Hon. J. A.'Millar said he Was • surpri sed „at the reooimmenidation of the lOanmuttee.,' They were, asking : ths .Minister; Of.' Alfairs „to -break the law. He •repeated that the Government intended to stand to the Commissioners' report. Member© -again voiced their discontent with the> Cfoanmissioners , ireport.
