THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTURES. The Foresters' Hall was packed last evening, the occasion: being the. usual change of programme. The pictures shown were exceptionally good, particularly" the star film, "The Deluge." Then the deluge breaks upon the fated people, and amidst peals and crashes of terrifying thunder and flashes of destructionwreaking lightning, the learth is gradually submerged, the (people fleeing terror-stricken "to the mountain, tops. TJie ark finally rests on Mt. Ararat, and Noah builds a thanksgiving altar. A rainbow appears in the isky '.as an everlasting token that the earth will never again ibe overwhelmed with flood. Supporting iim great attraction are the (following excellent pictures:— "Jim the Mule. Boy" (a splendid mining drama), "The White Squaw" (an intereating Indian .study), "In Arcady" (a coloured scenic picture by. G'aoi-" mont), "Tony the Greaser" (a tale of the Mexican revolution), "Nioolaieff" (a powerful Russian drama), "She Would Talk," "Bulbous Flowers," "Investiture of the Prince," "Wellington Day by Day," "Tweedledum's Dream," "Evolution of Womankind," and "Pathe Gazette." This first-class programme will be repeated this evening.
