POLICY SPEECH
'BY WESTRALIAN PREMIER. A COMPREHENSIVE PROGRAMME. (Received. August 21, 10.5 ia.m.) PERTH, August 21. ( The. State Premier (Mr FrajiJj Wilson) has* d-eliver-ed a policy speech. The Premier's proposals include the construction of a dozen railways to open, up the' country, 'iwo hundred farms, ranging in area from a hundred and sixty to three hundred acres, are to be offered to settlers, the' Government providing dairy buildings and cattle. A quarter cf a. million, .is to be. devoted to advances up to £SOO (for workers' homes in. the towns. A vigorous immigration policy is to be continued. The' Arbitration Act is. to ibe repealed, and wages boairds substituted. Tho lar.d tax and Dividend Duties Act wall be repealed, and replaced ■< by income' and stock taxes. >
