TO-DAY'S WEATHER.
NEW ZEALAND FORECAST. By Telegraph — Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Rev. D. C. Bates, of the Meteorological Offico this evening issued the following summary and forecast:— Except south of the Eastt Cape, whore the weather has (been stormy, and in Foveaux Strait, where the conditions have 'been, very unsettled, the weather has been generally fair. 'Moderate to strong southerly winds have predominated, with gales at times about the East Cape. The barometer has been very unsteady, (but lowest off the East Cape. Present indications are for moderate to strong isouth-easterly winds northward of New Plymouth and Castlepoint, and .south - westerly breezes elsewhere. Changeable and fair weather expected generally, and a slowly rising barometer.
