HOME MARKETS. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., have received the following cablegram from their London house under date 16th hist.: — Wheat. —We have sold an Australian cargo at 35s net c.i.f. There is very little demand and the market is very dull. The outlook is uncertain.

EKETAHUNA STOCK SALE. Messrs Abraham and William:*, Ltd., report on their Eketahuna stock sale held yesterday as follows: —The yarding of cattle was a good one, but sheep were confined to a few pens only which met spirited competition before a very large attendance of the public. A small lot of fat wethers sold on behalf of Mr Nicol made the record price of the season, 23?. Cattle also sold well, and we have to report practically a total clearance. Pat cows made- up to £6 13s; empty oqivs, £3 to £3 15s; dairy cows, £3 7s Od, £5 15s to £6; springing heifers in low condition, £3 8s 6d; meaners, 25s to 355; fat wethers, heavy-skin-ned sheep, 235; hoggets (mixed), lis 9d, 13s. \'
